I lost on Friday night 14 spoons and a silver [serpash?]. I missed [ILL] about nine [ILL] my Khausomah Cakked 1st told me they were lost about an hour before the prisoner had absconded he had lived with me two days. When he was taken, two spoons were found $c the cloth [ILL] his waist. One I am sure, was [ILL] other I believe to have been mine. Besides 4 and a half, and a pair of bracelets, that seemed to have been newly melted. The Prisoner said, that he was the servant to another gentleman on the other side of the water. [ILL] whose spoons they were: he afterwards said that [the? they?] Kheusench had let him have the spoons, & had offered him 5 rupees as a bribes Khullu [ILL] lived some [ILL] missed any thief I thought him [ILL]
