out of the drain & detained Prisoner he gave me this Rupee & desired not to say anything. I made him no promise. This is the same watch [ILL] I now produce.
In answer to questions from Prisoner:
The watch was hanging within his cloth, I supposed it hung by a string, but I could not see because he run away.
There was no string to it when I found it in the Drain.
I do not know that Prisoner was particularly liked by Mr. Wms by the Sercar & the rest of the Servants. It is not true that I continued this charge against him.
