I keep a shop in Calcutta in pp [partnership] with James Rawkin & Griffith Jones, this watch is our property, it is the property of myself & Rawkin & Jones, & it is [ILL] is commonly called a metal watch.
One day in July last, I missed this watch. I had laid thi with 2 others on a table in my bedchamber. To [ILL]how it went. It then had the [ILL] or pendant by witch the Chain fasten’d it – now wants it. A little before 2 o’clock I missed it, the other two watches remained. I bid one of the Sercars order the Durwan
