accordingly delivered it to Gunga Govind Sing after reading it. The memorial was both in England & Persian, the 2 papers as I recollect being then fastened together with a thread.
This, now shewn to me, is the English paper Exhibit E.
This is the Persian paper (Exhibit D) these English words “Arzee of Golaumm Ashruff received from the Governor General had in person ordered me to deliver it to Gunga Govind Sing for the purpose abovementioned when he spoke about it & could not find it.
I can not ascertain the day but am inclined to think it was early
