to shew it one date in August 1785, and this bill of indictment was found in the June preceding.
Thus the very means of bringing convict home for Prosecution has been stopt by the [ILL] management of this [ILL].
In this place I wish to know whether your Lordships think the indictment can be supported the innocence of [Prosecution?] having appeared by any [ILL] till after the Bill of [ILL] was found.
