Suppose the inquiry had ended in confirming the charge so far as a bod of meaning could confirm it; -- would Lordships then say that such an Indictment could be suffered. If [not?] the impropriety as apparent of finding the bill, before the innocence of [Prosecution?] had appeared.

But I do not wish to rely on this Objection. I will make the innocence of Defendants manifest.
One general observation – must strike the Jury, that it is [ineredoth?] that men, wise, & cunning, for so they are represented and respectable, for so they will be proved, should have been [such?] [ILL] to trust [ILL]
