Wednesday November 4th 1778.
Present
Sir Robert Chambers
&
Mr. Justice Hyde.

[Triple Line]
Jugmohun Baboo
v
Henry Cottrell Esquire.

[Triple Line]
Mr. Newman, Advocate for the Defendant, open’d his Case.
Jugmohun is a violent and litigious Man: He had made a false accusation of a short delivery of Copper. Mr. Cottrell was angry with him and told him he was a troublesome Fellow and if he made any more such he would turn him out of his House: to this Jugmohun said Atcha, this is well, and made a Salam, with an Insolent Air.
Mr. Cottrell did not strike him but push’d him with his Cane, to turn him toward the door, and order’d him to be turn’d out.
