Evidence, shall be openly and publickly taken vivâ você in the said Court and shall by some sworn officer of such Court be reduced into One or more Writing or Writings in Parchment, in case any Duplicate or Duplicates should be required.
Thi­­­­­s Court are of Opinion it is not necessary to have the Evidence, as the Witnesses speak it, written immediately on Parchment, which would be inconvenient but that the Evidence may be first written on Paper, which is to be consider’d as a draught and is not to be sent to England, but the
