as soon as the distance of Moorshedabad would permit, by then moving for attachments, for disobedience to the Rules, otherwise, I doubted, and therefore advised these Motions, that they must apply on affidavits of Service of the Writs, for Rules to Return them, and then wait sufficient time for the Returns to be made, before they could apply for attachments.
This I take to be the more secure and regular method and therefore fit to be done, in Term time, and when it can be done without Loss of time, but yet it is my opinion, and was the Opinion of my late learned, brother Lemaistre whose death I ever sincerely lament, that the Judge who granted the Writs might in Vacation order attachments to Issue for disobedience. In this opinion I imagine I am now Singular for I beleive, but am not sure, Sir E. Impey and Sir Robert Chambers, say he can not, but that it must be moved in Term first for a Rule to Return, and on disobedience to the Rule, then moved in Term for an attachment for the contempt in disobedi=
