A Demurrer.
The Action is for assault and Battery and Imprisonment. After the Conclusion of the Plaint “to the Damage of the said Hurrikissen of Sicca Rupees Ten Thousand.”
The Plea is in these Terms
“And the said James Creassey in his own proper Person Comes and Defends the force and Injury when &c and says he is not guilty thereof, and of this he puts himself to the judgment of his Peers.”
