This is an Action against the Calcutta Committee, the Dewan of that Committee, the Nazeer of the Peons of that Committee and One of the Committee’s Peons.
The Action is for Assault Imprisonment and Extorting about One Thousand One Hundred Rupees.
The occasion of the Imprisonment was a demand on the Plaintiff for the Money received from him, as Revenue due to the Company from a Man for whom the Plaintiff was security, and was demanded as money
