I was not being able to get [from] them who it was, but afterwards I fod that Wheler was discovered to be the offender. I was not present at that – but I recd an Order fm Mr. A to put Wheeler in irons & I did so. Soon after I was ordered to put one Peter Martin, a sailor, in irons. I know nothing more.
