After I was in bed a black boy came & infd me that he beld they had fod out the chest that was broken open: I got up & told Mr. A: who went with me to the fore hatchway, & there we found a large chest, on the lower desk, which appeared to have bn broken open. On my lifting up the lid I saw some parcels like those [which] had bn fod above. Mr. Alcock order’d the chest to be [hauled?] up, & on
