Shaw Habbib Ullah. The Third Witness. The Telingas, that is, Sepayheys, would not let Victuals be carried in during three days. I gave her some by a water Course. The Telingas were at the Durgah about a Month.

Then they read for the Plaintiff a part of the Proceedings of the Chief and Council of Patna, dated 5th May 1777, In which it is said the Witnesses shall be delivered to the Fouzdar for Trial. It appears the intention of the confinement was to make the Plaintiff deliver up a Slave Girl, and the Seal of her late Husband, and the Sunnud of the Ublumgaw (Ulbumgana)
