I hope the Court will be of Opinion, that unless corruption is proved, the judges of these Courts will not be thought liable for any irregularity in their Proceedings.
If any oppression was practised by the Sepoys, the Chief and Council are no more accountable for it, than the judges of this Court would be for any Irregularity or Oppression exercised by the Sheriff's Bailiffs in the execution of Process of this Court.
