After the Cause was over, there was a long Conversation in Court between the Chief Justice, and Mr. Ewan Law, and Mr. Bogle, in which both Mr. Law and Mr. Bogle, affected to confound the Ideas of the Validity of the two Persian Writings according to the Mahommedan Law, and the authenticity, or genuineness of them, or in other Words to confound the Question, whether by the Mahommed Law those writings intituled the Widow to the whole Estate of her Husband; with the Question, whether those two Papers were in truth sign’d by Shaw Baz Beg Khan, or were written after his Death.
