Contract, viz in Jan: 75 he addressed a Lr to the board of Trade calculated to impose on the Compy at home.
They agreed that if he could furnish them with raw silk as good as [Witz?] had recd 13 Sr a Seer for, they would contract with him. & Though both he & they knew that this was a gross imposition & that the fair val was 7 Rs, he demanded & they consented to pay SR 13.8A.
