1775, he wrote a lr to the board of Trade remonstrating against any limit – of quantity.
In Novr. 1776 – he wrote anor letter representing that he had been a great sufferer by his contr:, & proposes to deliver up all his buildings &c if they will take 600 Mds of silk at the Contr: price – if this is not agreeable he offers to deliver 300 Mds at the contr: price & 200 more at uch reasonable price as should be agreed upon.
In 1777 they recd from him silk to the amount of 2 Lacks Rs & afterwards at his request, 200 Mds
