This being the first tuesday in December, the Court directed the Clerk of the Crown to wait upon the Governour General and Council with a message nominating three gentlemen, namely Mr. Pawson Esq, John Fergusson Esq, and Alexander Colvin Esq, in order that one of them many be appointed by the board Sheriff for the year ensuing.
