Hyde gave the Charge to the Grand Jury.
He observed that the first question in every case is whether the offender be amenable or not to the Jurisdon of this Court. This he explained to them and mentioned the late Stat: 26 Geo: 3. which extends the Jurisdiction of the Court to all crimes committed by Brit: Subjects within the limits of the Compy’s Trade.
