The Indictment charges that John Baddaford of Dinapore in the Province of Bahar [Labourer?] not having the fear of God before his Eyes but being seduced &c on the [ILL] of June in the year 1787 with force and Arms at Dinapore in the Province of Bahar in and upon one [ILL] feloniously wilfully and of his Malice aforethought did make an assault, and that he the said John Baddaford with a certain Bayonet (value six pence) which he the said John Baddaford held in his right hand the said [ILL] in and upon the left side of the Belly then and there feloniously wilfully and of his Malice aforethought did strike and thrust, giving to the said Mauggey with the Payment aforesaid in and upon the abovesaid left side of the Belly
