It is true that we have not proved the Lr of Demand written to Mr. Dutt by Mr. Martin Atty at Law for Deft but I conceive it to be admitted in the Answer.
Mr. Dunkin then reads from the bill a charge that in Jan: 1784 Deft directed Mr. Martin to write a Lr of Demand to Modun Dutt.
The Answer admits that “he did once direct Mr. Martin to write the origl Complainant (i. e. M. D) a Lr of Demand for the money and believes he did write one
