1777. Sessions. [Monday] Dec. 15.

Pearls and things he had stolen: I told him if he would return the things Mr. Cantwell would forgive him and not send him before the Justice, upon my saying that he denied; then Mr. Cantwell desired me to ask him privately, he then acknowledged he had taken the Pearls and the Spoons and said if I would give some person with him he would bring the Pearls, he said he had stole the Pearls. He said he had left the Pearls at his house.
