of Administration, was part of a Bargain for suppressing a prosecution for subornation of Perjury against the administrators, for having procured two false affidavits of great Debts, against the Agents of the Widow in order to get them into Prison, and thereby to prevent her obtaining the Administration to the effects of her husband.
The Prosecutor came to me and wanted me to discharge his Recognizance to Prosecute, saying he was satisfied: But I refused so to do, nevertheless he did not appear to prosecute but forfeited his Recognizance.
