Words viz – Fort William in Bengal: The Jurors for our Lord the King upon their Oath present that Richard Delaney of Calcutta at Fort William in Bengal Labourer William Wheling of the same Place Labourer and Thomas Burn of the same Place Labourer on the fifteenth day of January in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and eighty eight, and in the Twenty eighth Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Third, by the Grace of God, of Great Britain, France and Ireland King, Defender of the Faith and so forth, with force and arms at Calcutta and Factory of Fort William in the Province of Bengal in a certain open Place near the Kings Highway there in and upon one James Lowe in the Peach [ill] [ill] and our said Lord the King, then and there being feloniously did make an assault and him the said James Lowe in bodily Fear and Danger of his Life, in the said open Place near the Kings Highway aforesaid then and there, feloniously did put and one pair of Silver Buckles of the value of ten Shillings of lawful money of Great Britain of the Proper Goods and Chattels of the said James Lowe, from the Person and against the Will of the said James Towe in the said open Place near the Kings Highway aforesaid, then and there, feloniously and violently did steal take and carry away against the Peach
