of Money to pay advances for that Commodity. That the Gomastahs of the Rani told him, it was not a proper time to pay advances for Silk, that he had better lend the Money to the Rani who wanted to pay Revenue, and would pay him Interest for it. On the Perswasion of the Gomastahs, the Plaintiff did lend a large sum, and he has got such sort of Notes as are call’d Bengal Bonds for the amount, there are subscribing Witnesses to those Notes, but we have not now those Witnesses here, because from the obstructions that have lately been given to the Process of this Court, we did not think proper to take out Subpoena’s to those Witnesses. But we have the Witnesses here to prove the Actual Loan of the Money.
