William Tulloh & Edward gardner, against the form of the [ILL] that case made [ILL], and against the peace of our said Lord the King his Crown & Dignity: and the Jurors aforesaid, upon their oath aforesaid do further present that the said Durgapersaud Shaw is a Person subject to the Jurisdiction of this Court by having committed the offence aforesaid within the Town of Calcutta and Factory of Fort William in the Province of Bengal aforesaid.
To this indictment the prisoner pleaded Not Guilty, and the following Jury, was sworn to try him. – viz
