The business of this day, as fixed on Saturday, was to examine the remaining witnesses for the Deft in the cause of Obheychurn Meter v. Ross Jennings. As the depositions have been taken on several days, with considerable intervals between them, the Judges were all of opinion that they must be read over again at one time before we can give Judgemt in the cause. It was therefore not thought necessary that all the Judges should attend this morning and as I am not very well I stay’d at home.

Accordingly seven more Wtses were examined this day for Deft which took up the whole forenoon; and then the Advocates on both sides acquainted Mr. Just. Hyde and Mr. Justice Jones, that the Deft
