Not fear. I was not desired by Gopee to speak to Ramnarain.
Mr. Thomas Griffin. I became Clerk to Mr. Swinhow in Dec. 1779. I saw a man who called himself Biraam Chowdry in Dec. 1779 or Jan. 1780. Trelochun Chatterjea brought Biram to me and desired me to take down his story. For the purpose of Drawing a case to lay before Mr. Morse. Which I did. Trelochund remained with Biram and me but a short time, but Biram remained till I had taken down all I judged material. I believe the case I wrote was torn,
