oath present That Gopey Sing of Calcutta and Factory of Fort William in the Province of Bengal not having the fear of God before his Eyes but being moved and seduced by the instigation of the Devil on the Sixth Day of December in the year of our Lord Christ one thousand seven hundred & Eighty Eight and in the twenty eighth year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the third by the Grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland King Defender of the faith and so forth with force and arms at the Town of Calcutta and Factory of Fort William in the Province of Bengal in and upon one Nankee in the Peace of God and our said Lord the King then and there being feloniously wilfully and of his malice aforethought did make an Assault and with a certain stick of the Value of one penny of lawful money of Great Britain which he the said Gopey Sing in his right hand then and there had and held the said Nankee in and upon the Head Stomach Back Belly and Sides of her the said Nankee then and there feloniously wilfully and of his malice aforethought did strike beat bruise and batter and with both the hands and feet of him the said Gopey Sing the said Nankee to and against the Ground
