Court against Sarah Mappletoft executrix of Thomas Sheilds, for a Simple Contract Debt due from Sheilds to Holland and Hunter and obtain’d a judgment on this Action for Thirteen Thousand Rupees and upward Thirty One Thousand Three Hundred and Forty Current rupees, Three Annas and Three Pice: They sued out execution on this judgment, and then Hunter wrote to the Sheriff that Hunter had that Sum in his hands arising from the Effects of Thomas Sheilds, and that if the Sheriff would give him leave instead of sending the money to Calcutta, he would pay it to himself Hunter and to Holland at Dacca: the Sheriff assented and made his return’d that the Money was levied, on getting a Receipt from Mr. Robert Jarrett, an attorney of this Court
