([Tuesday] Feb. 6th 1781.)
by Holland and Hunter: And Mr. Newman further stated that the Action against Mrs. Mappletoft as Executrix of Thomas Sheilds, brought by Holland and Hunter was collusive, and that Mr. Jarrett was in that Action Attorney for Holland and Hunter the Plaintiffs, and for Mrs. Sarah Mappletoft the Defendant.
But neither of these Facts were proved. It appear’d by Letters produced that Hunter and Holland or One of them knew some thing of the affairs of Mrs. Mappletoft and of Thomas Sheilds her Testator [and I believe her Son, for she had had several husbands the name of One of whom was Irwin] and had offer’d to pay the Principal
