Bibby sign the Paper, he being within the room, and he without the door, out of sight of her.
But a Woman swore she put her Mark as a Witness in sight of Lutcha Bibby, and in sight of Gowr, and that Gowr saw Lutcha put her Mark, Lutcha being within the room opposite the door, and Gowr seeing Lutcha through the door, and that Gowr wrote the name of Lutch, and also the name of this Woman the Witness. There was another subscribing Witness who was dead, as the Woman proved.
On this the Court thought the Bill of sale sufficiently proved to be read, although there was
