Witness then relates a calculation made by the agents of the Plaintiffs charging in the account Exhibit No 22 several sums of money which he specifies, and says that when these sums were cast up with the others the amount was nearly the same with the balance of the account marked © viz 91,169.12.

When the account (Exhibit No 22) was delivered to me I enquired of the Defendant’s party what they had to object on the subject of the 4965 Rupees & 15 annas. They said to me “you shall have no trouble about it we shall settle that with the Plaintiffs,” & they offered to give a Bond for that amount. Plaintiffs people refused to accept it, saying whatever Transactions they had with Ram Govind & Nilmoney Mitter it was all by the direction of Mr. Dawson, and if he would be security for the money that then they would receive their Bond as they proposed.
The last dispute of all was about the Interest and Hoondean. Nilmoney went to Mr. Dawson & on his return he said that he Mr. Dawson would not allow the Hoondean or Exchange & Interest. I answered him according to my opinion you are to pay Hoondean and Interest. Nilmoney went several times to Mr. Dawson
