Of the like import, more proper to be done, because he had, I know not why, stricken out the words “In the Supreme Court of Judicature at Fort William in Bengal” which were written at the Top of the affidavits sworn before Sir Robert Chambers, so that, by that alteration Sir E. Impey had made these affidavits not appear to be affidavits sworn in this Cour, or before Sir Robert Chambers as one of the Judges of this Court, but as if they had been sworn before Sir Robert Chambers as a Justice of the Peace.
