who asked the Administration merely as a Friend to the deceased and the Court were bound to Grant administration to a Creditor in preference to such a distant Relation or meer Friend.
Sir E. Impey, beside giving this Reason, always asserted that he knew the Practice to be so in the Diocese of London.
If it is so, we are bound to follow it, but I have some doubts whether it is.
I think it would be much more convenient, if this Court had more latitude, in Granting Administrations, to such Persons as in their Discretion they thought most fit.
