Mr. Larkins cross examined.
In the month of June last I did receive several letter from Mr. Fenwick. (I recd one of the 10th of June from Mr. Fenwick) In court, I believe, are all the letters I ever recd from him. I produce two, one, 16 June, the other, 21 June. I believe I have exhibited one enclosing a letter from Mr. Mackinley. The letter from Mr. Macinley, enclosed in Mr. F’s of the 16 June, was at Mr. F’s desire expressed in that letter, returned to him that evening but I can produce a copy of it which I took & I communicated it to Mr. Macinly. I produce anor letter dated 21 March 1791 from Mr. Fenwick. read. The two last letters 16 & 21 June, have no covers. I do not think it possible, that by mistake, the cover of one of those two letters could have been annexed to Exh. Y.
