I look at the paper N1 which is a notice, 16 July 91 & recd by me on that day as attorney for the prosecution from Mr. Swinhoe as attorney for the Dft. It requires me to produce a letter sent to me b the dft on 10 June 1791.
P. 1. The paper annexed to the notice purports to be a letter from Mr. Fenwick: I never saw a letter such as that described in the notice or of which the other paper purports to be a copy, nor do I know that any such exists annexed to Mr. Larkins ([she?] notices M. 1., N. 1., O.1. & P. 1. read.
