I am named Mutee oolla, & am Capt. Fenwick’s servt. He sits in courts. I have been in his service from the time of his arrival here. I know Mr. Larkins. I was directed by a Mr. Lisle to carry a letter to Mr. Larkins. I do not remember on what day of the month. It was, I guess, a month, or six weeks, or two months, ago. I carried two letters on the same day, one to the post; the other, to Mr. Larkins. I was not present, when my master was arrested; but I remember the time, when I heard the constable had come in secret of him. My master was apprehended on the day after I delivered the letter to Mr. Larkins’s servant. It was put into my hand at my master’s house: no one was present, but Mr. Lisle. He desired me to deliver two Europe letters to Mr. Fenwick, & one letter to Mr. Larkins I got no answer from Mr. Larkins, but salam from his hircarrah. I did not
