against Bulram Ghose, administrator of Francis Peacock late of Budipore in the district of Purneah deceased, and others, stating, That the Appellant and the said Francis Peacock, on or about the 30th of November 1780, entered into Articles of Agreement, in writing, to become patrons for three years, and to be jointly concerned in farming or taking a [ILL] of certain Lands for that period, in the morning Country, whereon the Soul Timbers grow, for cutting the same down, and transporting them within the Purnea Districts and in buying and selling all such other Wares and Merchandizes in, to and from the Purnea, as well as the said Morning Country as should seem most profitable & advantages to the said Francis Peacock & the Appellant Rajah Ramlochund Roy, and also to lend money at Interest in the said Purnea and Morning Countries at their Discretion, for which purpose a [ILL] of 200,000 Rupees was to be advanced by the said Francis Peacock and Rajah Ramlochund Roy in equal proportions, and it was further
