The Law itself raises that presumption when 20 years have elapsed without demand.
In this case – no application by Gocul Ghose to Mr. Fairlie to whom it was not he shod mention such a bond if it were unpaid, & desire to be pd out of Deft’s effects in Mr. Fairlie’s hands when Gocul himself was distressed & Mr. Skiddy absent.
