And this Defendant further answering says that she does not know nor can she setforth wether, some time, or how long, before the filing the said order, or whether at any other or what time, the Governor General in Council of Fort William aforesaid, or any other and what Persons or Person acting on the part and behalf of the Complainants the said United Company, or otherwise, received from Thomas Law Esquire, the Magistrate of the Phousdarry Court of Adaulut for the Province of Bahar, or from any other and what Persons or Person, such Petition as in the said Bill of Complaint is alledged had been presented to him the said Thomas Law in his Capacity of Magistrate by the Complainant Bahader Beg, inclosing a Voluntary Confession or recantation of one Ghyrut Beg, or any other Petitions or Petition to such or the like purport or Effect; but this Defendant admits as aforesaid that Ghyrur Beg was one of the subscribing witnesses to the aforesaid Deeds called Hebanama and Ekrauraum, and was therefore on the trial of the aforesaid action at Law called on behalf of this Defendant to establish and did, by his Evidence then and there truly given, help to establish the truth of such two Deeds respectively
