Cojah Zaccariah Re-examined for the Plaintiff.
in a letter of my own and delivered to a Mogul, a native of Bokhara, who was my acquaintance and gave him strict orders to carry and deliver it to my Cousin at Cabul: afterwards when this dispute arose between the Plaintiff and defendant, the Plaintiff delivered to me the original Hebah Nameh and Ekrar Aam and told me to take Copies of them and if any one raised disputes to shew those Copies to the Cazy, I therefore took a Copy of the Ekrar Aam and desired the Mufty Rewal to affix his Seal thereto, and I took a Copy of the Hebah nameh myself, not finding an opportunity of getting the said Mufty’s Seal affixed thereto, afterwards while they were taking the Inventory the Cazy Saady one day came to the House of the Plaintiff and desired me to ask her on what Grounds she laid Claim to her Husband’s Effects.
