Deposition of Meer Khan.

upon the defendant Cazy Saady’s sending a second Message, she made a great outcry in the Company’s name and said she would by no means suffer the door to be opened. The defendant Cazy Saady again sent me to acquaint her, that it was better to open the doors now than to stay till the Sepahies came to open them, when she would be appointed, that at present nothing would be done but putting the Seals on, he was sensible every thing belonged to her and she should have them.
We (the Family and I) then advised the Plaintiff to consent to have the doors opened rather than suffer any affront, accordingly the doors were opened. The Defendant Bahadur Beg, Cazy Saady, Mufty Ullah or his Brother, and Mufty Kereem Ullah came into the House, asked for the Locks and Keys.
