almost daily called on to do is as well by this Defendant and his Sercars as by the late Mr. Davies and Mr. William Ledlie, that this Defendant did at last about the month of June or July last prevail on the said Complainant to come to this Defendant’s house where this Defendant’s account current up to the first day of June one thousand seven hundred and ninety one was produced to him by Cossinaut Bysack this Defendant’s Sircar and he the said Complainant himself took a Copy of it in his own handwriting and said he would go home and examine it that this Defendant having afterwards called on the said Complainant either to pay the Balance thereof to this Defendant or give him a legal and proper Security therefore and not being able to prevail on him to do so he this Defendant about the thirtieth July one thousand seven hundred and ninety one instructed Mr. William Ledlie to write to him that if the
