Myram Jematdar, Bhavani & others stood together, and gave orders to strike Futty Muhammed, whom they took for Asaram, & said to Bhavani Sepoy – Strike this Subhadar.
Bhavani advanced, and gave Futty Muhammed a cut. Futty laid hold of Bhavani: other Sepoys attempted to rescue Bhavani. Cokun stood near, and lifting up both hands (in his right he had a stick) exclaimed against such behavior, and advanced toward Futty & Bhavani. Jagannath was of the party of those, who had ordered Bhavani to strike, and the same persons, who gave that order, said Strike
