Present

[Triple Line]
Tarrineychurn Metre
v
Rajah Ramlochurn & Rajechunder.

We went on with this Cause, beginning to day with the Defendant’s Case.

Mr. Newman, Advocate for the Defendants, Stated the Defence to be a denial of the Plaintiff having been struck by any body with a Slipper: A Denial of orders to bring him by force to the Boat. A Denial of his being carried by force in the Rajah’s Budjro from one Gaut to the other, though admitting that he went in that Budgerow, but asserting that it was at his own desire.
