This was another of the like causes as the rest against the Present Defendant and Gholaum Naby, who was his Master.
This like the other causes was for confinement and flogging, on pretence of compelling the payment of Revenues. But there was no Justification, nor any attempt to prove a Justification in any of these causes.
The first Witness proved that Golaum Naby was Oodadar, and that Bowanny Bose was his Dewan, and used to be respected for holding a great office, but was not reckon’d very rich.
Dammages. Four Hundred Arcot Rupees.
