the Plaintiff should recover so much as would make him be no loser, by bringing the Action, by being fully equal to the difference between taxed Costs and real Costs, or rather more, that he might gain a little. As such we were agreed in the Dammages being Two Hundred Sicca Rupees, Impey and Chambers being first inclined to give less, but agreed to that on my saying I beleived it would hardly do more than save him harmless. The Dammages alledged in the Plaint were Fifty Thousand Sicca Rupees.
