This was an action to recover about Eight Thousand Rupees, which it was said were seized in a Chest belonging to the Plaintiff, and taken from him by the Defendant, about Five years ago, when the Defendant made a complaint against the Plaintiff in some Cutcherry in Calcutta.
The Witness for the Plaintiff said she was a Women kept by him: that he used to leave the Key of the Chest with her by which she knew the Contents.
She swore also, that he was a Watchman to guard Golahs, which the word Goalpaharry imports; and received three or four Rupees a Month Wages from the
